With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a talented CFO to lead their financial strategy and contribute to their continued success.

Role Overview:

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning. Working closely with the executive team, you will provide insightful analysis and guidance to drive business growth and profitability. This role is based in the Birmingham (central) office and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's objectives and long-term growth.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditure to optimise financial performance.
  • Oversee the accounting function.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO / Finance Director, preferably within the property development or land sector.
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving business results through strategic financial management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary circa £140,000, commensurate with experience, along with an executive package including bonus, pension, and additional benefits.
